Anzac Day

Doreen Ezekiel Rehu
Last term Amazing Arewhana talked about Anzac day. We spoke about the importance of the day and why we celebrate it and have a holiday on that day. During the holiday some family members went to a Dawn Parade.
That is what we talked about when we came back.
In week 1, Amazing Arewhana read a book called 'Dawn Parade'.
This gave the children a bigger picture of the dawn parade for some families when they go to celebrate Anzac day.

Here we have some published writing. We drafted our writing with simple sentences, then we revised our writing to see if we could make some changes in it. Once we proofread our work, some of us were able to publish our work.
If you have time, please come to our windows as we have some writing up for all to read.
Leave a comment too. Thank you for visiting our blog.
